ABACO - Building Specialties with Experience.

The company started out in 1992 under the name of Division Ten.  The three partners had a lot of background in the industry. One partner had over 30 years of experience as a superintendent for a general contractor, overseeing the construction of buildings inside and out from the ground up.  The other two partners had a combined history of over 30 years selling products used in the specialty end of the projects.

Together, the three partners formed Division Ten, which  sold and installed these products.  Because the partners had already built relationships with many contractors & owners, within a short time the business was off and running with both new and old customers. Division Ten kept growing because the partners knew their products and how they worked together; they provided excellent service based on that knowledge.  

Soon new product lines were added to the portfolio.  The company chose products and companies that had a philosophy similar to their own: Good quality, personal, timely deliveries and ease of installation.  

The company originally known as Division Ten was incorporated in 1994 as ABACO, ( Architectural Building Accessories Co.) INC.  The company now mainly does business in North and South Carolina, with other projects, large and small, in NY, PA, VA and GA.  With over a dozen support teams, technical assistance is always nearby, in any state.
